What is Mindful Meditation?
We will explore the current trend and the lineage of Mindfulness.
Everyone is being mindful these days, but what is it really? what is its intention? Is it another money maker? And is this helping or hurting the yoga community?
Sequencing Stage two-
How can pattern and shapes take us into our natural alignment. With so many systems out there how do we know what is natural alignment. We will explore rhythms of the inner and outer collective and how this impact us as yoga teachers.

Music of the Mind
We forget that sound is also movement a very subtle form of movement. This workshop will explore music, sound and Mantra and how it affects body and mind. We will learn how different vibration influences mood, emotion and creates patterns that benefit wellbeing, and how we can use this intelligently in a yoga class.

About Lianne Metcalf :
Lianne has over 25 years experience teaching and practicing yoga. She developed her first teacher training in 2004, becoming accredited with Yoga Alliance in 2007. Her unique style encompasses the influences of physical theatre, her travels in the east and her study of Buddhism.
Lianne’s vinyasa has been influenced by taoism, tai chi, Vajrayana Buddhism and over the years the yoga world of Cyndy Lee, Shiva Rae and Wade Imre Morrisette. She has an advanced diploma in Zapchen Somatics (Buddhist and Western body psychotherapy), where her principle teachers are Tony Richardson and Julie Henderson. Lianne has been studying Buddhism for 15 years with Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche, and also studies within the Shambhala tradition of contemplative meditative practices.
